How Does It Work?
Step 1: Register
First agree to the data protection and user conditions. Then you can verify yourself with your cell phone number. You will receive a code by SMS.
Step 2: Discover the posts
In the feed, you will find all your contacts' posts in StatusQ and later your own. You can share, like or download the photos in the best quality.
Step 3: Create your groups
Create groups that are only visible to you. You can use these groups to determine who sees your posts.
Step 4: Create a post
Select up to 10 photos from your gallery. Set the title, image quality and location. You can use your groups to restrict visibility.
Step 5: Visit the profiles
Every contact at StatusQ has their own gallery in their profile. Discover their posts and download the photos in the best quality.
Step 6: Use the search
Use common keywords such as beach, burger, etc. The image recognition automatically finds all relevant topics.

To register for the StatusQ app, you must be at least 16 years old.
Registration is only possible with a mobile phone number.
Download the StatusQ app for free from the Play Store for Android smartphones or the App Store for iPhones. Read and accept the terms of use and privacy policy. Select your country code, enter your mobile phone number and click ‘Next’. Enter the verification code you received via SMS. After that, you’ll be asked to allow access to your contact list and to receive notifications and advertising.
You don’t have to add any contacts manually. All contacts in your phone book who use the app are automatically your StatusQ contacts. If they do not use StatusQ, invite them using the invite function in the ‘Contacts’ tab.
at the top right of the feed. Select up to 10 photos from your smartphone gallery and confirm your selection. Add a short description and emojis. Optionally, you can share a location by activating ‘Show location’. Select an image quality and, if necessary, limit the visibility of the post using the group selection. By tapping on ‘Publish’, the post goes live in a few seconds and appears in the feed. All your contacts will see your posts, unless they are restricted via different groups.Define your groups when posting and determine who can see your posts.
Photos uploaded in their original quality remain unchanged. All metadata will be removed. If the location is activated with the ‘Show location’ option, the location data of the media (GPS coordinates) will remain in the metadata.
The photos you upload are stored on servers in Germany.

Yes, the app and your account are free. You can upload up to 500 MB of media. To get more storage space, you will need the Pro Account, which will soon be available as an in-app subscription.
